I first met Jeandre v.d Bergh from Love at First Sight when I was asked by Growthpoint Properties to photograph a few of their shopping malls. Jeandre was working for Constantia Interiors at the time which is located inside the old constantia mall.
She told me she was in the process of setting up a business and needed a photographer in Cape Town who could take great food photos so I gave her my details for my professional photography company in Cape Town.
She looked at my website and in particular my food photography and so commissioned me to do the photography for her new venture which she calls ‘Love at First Sight’. This is the first photoshoot, with a portrait shoot and final food photography shoot coming up in July.
Love at First Sight aims to bring you not only delectable and tasty sweet treats, but also occasion decor, cakes and desserts and package the whole deal so you can sit back, relax and take all the credit.
I’m a sucker for sweet treats and being a photographer in Cape Town this seems to work out well, having one’s cake and eating it.
